Frequently asked questions

The App says it can't find my video file

This usually means the original file was moved, renamed, or deleted after you added it to a project. Re-select the video from its current location using the same import flow, or move it back to where it was originally.

My export looks lower quality than the original

Check the resolution and frame rate you picked in the export dialog — options that would require upscaling past your source footage are automatically grayed out, so if your export looks soft, double check you didn't select a preset that's lower than the video you actually recorded.

Export is taking a long time

If none of your clips have any crop, volume, or aspect-ratio changes, export is near-instant (no re-encoding needed). Once any adjustment is applied, or clips come from more than one source video, the App has to re-encode — for long recordings or 4K footage this can take a few minutes.
