Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
Pickleball Video Editor ("the App") is designed to work entirely on your own Mac. This policy explains what that means in practice.
What we collect
Nothing. The App does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage analytics, or diagnostic data on any server. We do not operate a backend, and the App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Your video files
Every video you import, edit, or export stays on your device. Videos are never uploaded anywhere — all trimming, cropping, and exporting happens locally using Apple's built-in AVFoundation framework. We never see, access, or have any way of viewing your footage.
File access
The App uses macOS's standard file picker to let you choose which videos to import and where exported videos are saved. It only accesses files you explicitly select. To keep your projects working after you quit and reopen the App, it stores a small, local security-scoped reference to each file you've picked — this reference never leaves your Mac and is not shared with us or anyone else.
Third parties
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. If a future version adds optional in-app purchases, that will be handled through Apple's own App Store and RevenueCat's subscription infrastructure, and this policy will be updated accordingly before that happens.
Children's privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds account sign-in or cloud sync — we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
